We will also take a look at considerations regarding blocking AI tools, open access and equity.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

You will explore and learn about the history and background of AI. I will provide context of the roots of AI, to make sure that every participant is jumping in at the same entry point, to be able to fully absorb the content.

You will begin to grow more comfortable with AI, using hands-on experiences to create. You will learn about and gain experience with text generative AI (ChatGPT) and prompt writing. Your perspective will be broadened in terms of where we stand with capacity of AI beyond text generation, including image, audio and multimedia creation.

You will have a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape of AI in Education.

You will learn more about the implications of AI for education, and where it stands now. We will look through different lenses to see how we can use this tool in the classroom, considerations about blocking and open access, detecting AI, equity and rethinking assessment.
